Hydraulics training you can document

Digital hydraulics training with scenario-based assessment and an oral defence, evaluated and signed by a subject-matter expert. The result is a competence credential, issued to the individual, that the employer can verify.

How the competence credential works

Hydrali Core is an online hydraulics course where learning, assessment and an oral defence form one process and end in a single verifiable competence credential. The course and the multiple-choice test are the starting point. The value lies in the documented assessment: scenario tasks, oral defence, identity check and a named subject-matter assessor. The tasks are built on real, anonymised incidents from the field: troubleshooting, commissioning and maintenance of maritime and offshore hydraulic systems.

    Learning

Focused course modules in hydraulics, anchored in ISO 1219, ISO 4413, ISO 4406, NORSOK R-003/R-005 (Norwegian offshore standards) and chapter 10 of the Norwegian Regulations concerning the Performance of Work.

    Assessment

Randomised, timed test with both multiple-choice and scenario-based tasks.

  3. 03

    Defence

15–20 min oral/video defence with identity check, assessed by a human assessor.

  4. 04

    Credential

Verifiable competence credential tied to the individual, with QR code and public verification link.

What the credential documents, and what it does not

We are precise about what a Hydrali competence credential actually says. Honesty about its scope is part of its value.

What is documented

  • Theoretical and applied understanding of hydraulics
  • Ability to read hydraulic circuit diagrams and troubleshoot at system level
  • Which competencies were assessed, with candidate, date, course version and named assessor
  • Content anchored in ISO 1219, ISO 4413, ISO 4406, NORSOK R-003/R-005 (Norwegian offshore standards) and chapter 10 of the Norwegian Regulations concerning the Performance of Work
  • Named subject-matter assessor and signature on every credential

What is not documented

  • Not a CETOP certificate
  • Not an assessment of physical skills on the workshop floor
  • No AI decides pass or fail. A human assessor makes the decision
  • Documentation of knowledge, not a statutory occupational licence

Part of Hydrali Core · rolling out in the pilot programme

For employers in industrial maintenance

Hydrali Core gives the maintenance team structured hydraulics training and documents their competence in an audit-ready form. The features below are part of Core and are rolling out in the pilot programme, for maritime, offshore and onshore industry where verifiable competence in industrial maintenance matters.

Competence matrix

See status per person and team, across competencies: passed, in progress or missing.

Verifiable credentials

Every credential is tied to the individual, with a public verification link any third party can check.

Audit-ready export

Document the competence of the maintenance team in one step, mapped to industry requirements.
